Who we are
Clean Page Press is a book production service run by DistroCode LLC, Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA. Contact: social@cleanpagepress.com.
What we collect
- What you type or attach in our forms: your email, your word count, the KDP message you paste, your trim size and any file you attach.
- With each form entry, the technical details your browser sends: your IP address, your browser type (the user agent) and the page you came from (the referrer).
- Your manuscript and any files you send us by email.
- What you type into the chat box on this site, and the email address you give there, once our HubSpot account is switched on.
- Messages you send to our Facebook Page through Messenger.
- Payment details are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Why we use it
- To send the checklist and your free sample.
- To quote, deliver and support the work you order.
- To send a few formatting tips by email, if you signed up for our checklist. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Your manuscript
We use your manuscript only to do the work you asked for. We never publish it, share it outside our production team, or use it to train software. We delete working files 90 days after delivery unless you ask us to keep them. That covers the 60 day window for our fix-until-accepted guarantee, with a margin. A file you send for a free sample or a diagnosis that does not become an order is deleted 30 days after we receive it.
Payments
We take payments through Stripe payment links. Stripe handles your card details, and we never see or store your card number. Refunds go back through Stripe to the card you paid with. Stripe's own privacy policy covers what it does with your payment details: stripe.com/privacy.
Where your form entries go
Our forms run on Elementor Pro, which keeps a copy of each entry in our website's database, under Elementor Submissions. That copy holds your email, word count and message, plus your IP address, your browser type and the page you came from. We delete those three technical details 30 days after the entry.
Each entry is also sent as an email to our own address, so we can reply. A file you attach goes with that email only: Elementor Pro deletes it from the website as soon as the email is sent, and the stored copy notes only that a file was attached.
Once our HubSpot account is switched on, sample and diagnosis requests also go to HubSpot, the service we use to keep track of who we are talking to. HubSpot stores your email and your message.
Who we share it with
We share it only with the services we need to run this business. Our website host stores what you send through our forms, and our email host carries those messages and our replies. HubSpot holds contact details and chat messages once our account is switched on. File storage holds your manuscript while we work on it. Stripe takes the payment. Meta carries Messenger conversations. We do not sell your data.
Cookies and tracking
This site serves its own font files and loads nothing from Google Fonts or any other font service. Today it sets no cookies: a check of every page on 11 October 2026 found none.
HubSpot chat and forms. Once our HubSpot account is switched on, the chat box loads after you first tap, press a key or scroll. HubSpot then sets cookies to recognize you if you come back and to keep your chat together, and it stores the contact details you give it.
Analytics. Today the site runs no analytics. The tool we plan to add is Umami, which sets no cookies either and records page views and button clicks without identifying you. Umami keeps that data for 6 months. We will update this page before it goes on.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and checklist sign ups: 24 months after your last message to us, then deleted. Order records: 7 years after the order, for tax and accounting. Manuscripts: 90 days after delivery, as above. Files sent for a free sample or a diagnosis that does not become an order: 30 days after we receive them. The IP address, browser type and referring page stored with a form entry: 30 days after the entry.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data, or stop emails, at any time. Email social@cleanpagepress.com and say what you want deleted or sent to you. We delete it from our website, our email and HubSpot, and reply within 30 days. If you live in the EU, the UK or California, you have these rights under your local law too, and you can complain to your data protection regulator. We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
Children
This service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We will post any change on this page with a new date.
