IngramSpark wants a single-page PDF/X-1a:2001 or PDF/X-3:2002 file with every font embedded. KDP never asks for PDF/X, so a file it took can still fail.

Open Format, Page Style, Page tab. Type 6 in by 9 in, pick Mirrored, set the inside margin from KDP's page count table, then export a single page PDF and check every font shows Embedded.

Add 0.125 in to the width and 0.25 in to the height, run the art past the trim, keep text inside the margins, export single pages, and pick premium color for a short book.

Kindle Create builds chapters from page breaks and the headings it detects. A missed heading, an extra page break or a stray drag in the Contents pane puts chapters out of order. Each one has a fix inside the tool.
